Mo Klé is the stage name of the Swiss songwriter René Grünenfelder. He manages to capture the essence of his songs with just an acoustic guitar, an unmistakable voice, and acerbic lyrics in English, German or Swiss German when performing live.
New Single: Sophie
Sophie is the first single of an upcoming EP called "Songs From The Attic". The folk tune tenderly explores the shifts in a relationship after the birth of a baby. The lyrics express a longing for lost intimacy and convey apologies for past shortcomings. The song beautifully captures the complexities of love, parenthood, and the journey of rediscovering each other.

Tales From A Garage
“Tales From A Garage” is a self-produced, self-recorded collection of stripped-down acoustic songs. The EP contains a poem called “Perfection” that describes how we can often lose ourselves in the search of this monster called ‘perfection’. I see creativity and creation as a process that eventually leads us to something beautiful if only we keep an open mind. Very often it means letting loose of expectations that we put on ourselves or are put on us by our surrounding. When recording “Tales From A Garage” I let loose of those expectations and tried to create something that focuses on the essence of the song. Please check it out. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Parallel Worlds
“Parallel Worlds” is my debut album. It is available on all streaming and download platforms as well as on vinyl and CD. On the record I articulate the many contrasts of our world and point out how absurd they often appear, a recurring theme throughout my songs.
