The song themes circle around the challenges of parenthood as well as a world and dreams that seem to fall apart. The EP contains a poem called “Perfection” that describes how we can often lose ourselves in the search of this monster called ‘perfection’. I see creativity and creation as a process that eventually leads us to something beautiful if only we keep an open mind. Very often it means letting loose of expectations that we put on ourselves or are put on us by our surrounding. When recording “Tales From A Garage” I let loose of those expectations and tried to create something that focuses on the essence of the song. Please check it out.
